Pros & Cons:

  • Nice graphics!
  • Fun sound and music!
  • Highly addictive!
  • Challenging and fun!
  • Loads of levels!

  • Ads after every level is a bit irritating, however these can be gotten rid of.

The first thing you notice about Cut The Box is the design. The graphics are excellent and every bit as the very best puzzle games readily available in the Google Play Retail store. The game title is clearly a tweak on the popular Cut The Rope, however there’s little between the two games in terms of visual quality. In Cut the Box you cut up boxes as they sit on platforms. Cut at the right angle, gravity gets rid of the pieces from the platforms and they’re up to the floor. The puzzle lies in eliminating all the boxes with as few cuts as possible.

Gameplay itself is exceptionally basic, simply cut across the display, as you’d in games like Cut the Rope and Fruit Ninja. The genuine challenge lies however in ensuring all box pieces are removed entirely to complete each level. There are dozens and lots of levels and these are unlocked by gathering coins as you proceed. For that reason, later areas have to be unlocked and so on. For the impatient, you can also buy coins in the app to speed up access to all the levels.

The game is free of cost and functions sufficient ads, in fact you get a full display turn up after completing each level. Now, this is a little tiresome, however you can easily simply get rid of the ads with a $0.99 in app repayment. So, the ads annoy, however there are far worse ways to monetize your app and Cut The Box is certainly worth it. The discovering curve is quite steep, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a delightfully fun game to play and yet a truly good difficulty.

If you enjoy physics-based puzzle games, you’ll undoubtedly delight in playing this. It’s an excellent mobile game with a lot of difficulty and longevity.

Highly! The phases are reasonably fast to finish (if you know how) and it’s that compulsive ‘one more level’ factor.
